SEATTLE, Wash. --- Sophomore Lauren LaRocco and junior Taryn Rawlings each set new school records in their respective events to conclude the final day of the MPSF Championships in the Dempsey Indoor facility.
Rawlings started off the meet with an impressive mile, beating her previous personal record by 3 seconds and claiming a first place finish in her heat in 4:40.78. LaRocco then competed later in the day, also beating her previous record by four seconds and finishing third overall. Both Pilots previously held the school records in the 3000m and the mile.
Rawlings and senior Anna Farello also each made their marks in the record books in the 3000 meter, running times of 9:22.
