PORTLAND, Ore. -- Nich Klemp collected four hits, but the Portland Pilots fell to the Santa Clara Broncos 21-10 on Senior Day this Sunday. The Pilots still clinched the series.
Brock Gillis (3-3) started and took the loss on the mound for Portland (26-20, 15-9). Jack Folkins was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going four shutout innings while allowing two hits, walking one and striking out four.
In addition to his four hits, Klemp had three doubles and an RBI to lead the Pilots. His three doubles ties the program record for doubles in a game.
