SPOKANE, Wash. – John Kavulich finished second in the men's 5000-meter run to highlight Portland's op opening day at the MPSF Championships hosted at The Podium on Saturday.
Kavulich established a new PR of 14:24.63 in the event.
Other highlights from the meet including PR's in the Women's 200-meter Dash for both Ella Parker (25.78) and Avery Gill (26.54).
The women's distance medley of Laura Pellicoro, Tary Fuiten, Ellie Erikson and Veerle Bakker placed second with a time of 11:23.22
