PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots (16-8) dropped their final game against the Washington Huskies (14-10) 7-3 in Portland. The loss means the Pilots and Huskies officially split the season series.
Stu Flesland III was the winning pitcher with no runs or hits allowed in 3.1 innings pitched. Brock Gillis took the loss, pitching four innings with two runs allowed and three strikeouts.
The bats were silent for the Pilots until the bottom of the eighth. They finished with three runs off four hits. Trace Tammaro was the only batter with more than one hit, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI's.
