Hebert Named College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The honors keep coming for Portland Pilots two-way athlete Curtis Hebert, who was named the College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Week for his stellar performance last Friday. He's the first Pilot to win the award this season.

Hebert takes home the honor after throwing eight innings against the LMU Lions with 11 strikeouts on no runs allowed and just one hit and walk. His 11 strikeouts were a career high and also tied for the second most by a WCC pitcher this year. He threw 113 pitches to keep the Pilots in the ballgame until they won on a walk-off home run from Trey Swygart in the 10th.
