GREENSBORO, N.C. – Portland Pilot right-handed pitchers Brett Gillis and Peter Allegro made the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region West Teams, with Gillis making the first team and Allegro making the second. They are the first Pilots to earn All-Region honors since 1992.
Gilllis was one of the best pitchers in the nation this season, posting a 9-2 record with a 2.24 ERA. His ERA ranked first in the WCC and 10th in the nation. He also had the lowest ERA of any pitcher with at least 80 innings pitched. His nine wins were second in the WCC and 21st in the nation.
