MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's Gaels posted a 4-0 win against the Portland Pilots in West Coast Conference women's tennis action on Friday at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex. The Gaels improve to 11-7 overall and 5-2 in WCC play, while the Pilots drop to 4-14 and 0-7 in league.
Saint Mary's took the doubles point as its No. 43-ranked top duo won 6-0. The other two matches were competitive, but the Gaels held on for a 6-4 win at No. 3 to secure the initial point. Clementine Clement and Aubane Ville outlasted Pilot freshmen Lourdes Ramalle and Laura Okazaki.
