Fowler Wins Fourth WCC Player of the Week After Reaching Impressive Milestone

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Continuing her impressive run through conference play, Alex Fowler has been named the WCC Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. It's the third week in a row she has won the award and the 11th time for her career.

Fowler was crucial in both Portland's 83-80 overtime victory over the San Francisco Dons and their offensively potent 80-68 win over the Santa Clara Broncos. She scored 23 and 26 points respectively in each contest, averaging 7.5 rebounds and two steals a game as well. During the weekend, Fowler also became just the second Pilot ever and the fifth WCC player ever to reach at least 2,000 points for their career.
