MORAGA, Calif. – The Portland Pilots (17-8, 7-6 WCC) snapped a three-game skid against the Saint Mary's Gaels (13-14, 7-9 WCC) with an 89-84 win in Moraga. The win was Portland's sixth in a row against the Gaels.
Alex Fowler was the leading scorer for Portland with 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting. It's her seventh game scoring 20 points or more this season. Fowler also had eight rebounds and five assists and moved up to sixth all-time for the Pilots in career points.
Maddie Muhlheim also impressed with her best scoring game of the season, putting up 19 points with five made threes.
