BERKELEY, Calif. – Portland women's tennis concluded action Sunday at the 2024 ITA Northwest Regional Championships with a 5-0 singles record at Hellman Tennis Complex. Overall, the Pilots had two players reach the Round of 32 main draw and finished 13-13 in singles action at the event.
"This was a very good tournament for our program, with one of the highest win totals in singles in my time in Portland," head coach Filip Zivkovic said. "Regionals this year was at a very high level, every match was extremely competitive and we definitely improved day to day."
Sally Pethybridge and Alaia Rubio Perez won their opening main draw matches on Saturday before being eliminated by a pair of nationally-ranked opponents in the Round of 32.
