PORTLAND, Ore. – Santa Clara sophomore guard Tahj Eaddy made eight three-pointers and scored 26 points as the Broncos beat Portland 78-62 Saturday night before 3,007 fans in the regular season finale at the Chiles Center.
Eaddy's performance spoiled Senior Night, as Portland recognized four players set to graduate in May prior to tip-off. He finished 8-for-12 from three-point range and added four assists. Freshman guard Trey Wertz added 19 points and nine assists for the Broncos (16-14, 8-8 WCC).
