PORTLAND, Ore. – The CSUN Matadors snapped Portland's five-game winning streak with a 71-64 win over the Pilots Wednesday night at the Chiles Center. JoJo Walker led the Pilots with 15 points, while Tahirou Diabate added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The game featured ten ties and nine lead changes and was a one-possession game late after CSUN led 34-30 at the half.
The Pilots (6-2) jumped out to a 53-48 lead after a Walker three-point play and Isaiah White transition layup, but the Matadors (2-7) responded with an 11-0 run.
