PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Pilots jumped out to an early lead, but the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner scored six unanswered runs during the final three innings, including four in the top of the ninth, to rally past Portland and claim the series finale 10-8 on Sunday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. Ryan Kim finished with three hits for the Pilots, Jace McKinney drove in three RBI's, and Dutton Elske scored three runs.
Portland (4-7) scored three runs during both the second and third innings to hand their starter Camden Muller a comfortable lead. Kim scored the first run of the game when he trotted home on a wild pitch in the second inning, and Collin Runge sent an RBI double into the corner a few batters later to score Portland's second run.
