AZUSA/TORRANCE, Calif.— The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field team began their weekend in southern California this Thursday at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. Sac Relays in Azusa and Torrance, Calif. Lacey Conner and Aoibhe Richardson highlighted the night moving up in the all-time UP top-10 records. Junior Richardson won the women's 10,000m A Open Heat with a time of 34:35.60 to claim the eighth spot in the UP records. The redshirt freshman Conner completed the 3000m steeplechase in 10:57.39 to move up to seventh all-time at Portland. In the distance events, junior Lauren LaRocco also stood out on the night with a sixth-place finish in the women's 10,000m invitational.
