PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland women's basketball forward Lucy Cochrane continues to rack up the honors after a stellar first week on The Bluff, this time being named to the NCAA 'Starting Five' after the first week of action.
Cochrane was dominant in her first week as a Pilot. Through her first two games, Cochrane averaged 11 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per contest. She posted a double-double in Portland's 67-46 win over the Weber State Wildcats with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Her four blocks were the most by a Pilot since Sara Zaragoza had four in 2018.
