PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland's Chris Clements tossed a complete-game shutout and the Pilots finished off the sweep of Northern Colorado with a 4-0 win over the Bears on Sunday afternoon at a sun-splashed Joe Etzel Field. Clements struck out 13 to claim his second consecutive complete-game win.
Portland extends its winning streak to six straight games, which is the longest stretch without a loss since 2012. The Pilots' 13-4 record is the best start to a season since that same year, when Portland also won 13 of their first 17 games.
Clements scattered just six hits to improve to 4-0 on the year.
