PORTLAND, Ore. – The BYU Cougars dominated the boards and used a balanced scoring effort to cruise to a 105-60 victory over the Portland Pilots Thursday night in West Coast Conference men's basketball action at the Chiles Center. The Cougars complete the season sweep of the Pilots and remain in second place in the league standings.
The Cougars (15-4, 6-2 WCC) racked up a 46-12 rebounding margin for the game and shot 63 percent from the field. Gideon George finished with career-highs of 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead six BYU players in double figures.
Junior forward Eddie Davis finished with a team-high 17 points, while Latrell Jones added 11 points for the Pilots (6-11, 0-8).
