SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Portland Pilots goalkeeper Bre Norris was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.
Norris takes the honor after a stellar performance against the Saint Mary's Gaels this past Saturday. With just 10 players available after a red card in the 32nd minute, the Pilots powered their way to a 3-1 victory in large part due to Norris's performance. She collected a career-high 10 saves en route to the win, the most saves in a game by a Pilot since 2018. She's just the fourth player in the WCC this season to post that many saves in a match.
