PORTLAND, Ore. --- For the second straight year, Portland baseball head coach Geoff Loomis and his staff have compiled a nationally ranked recruiting class as the group of newcomers currently sit at No. 94 in the country, according to Perfect Game. Portland's incoming recruits sit just ahead of Pepperdine and BYU.
"Having a top-100 class in 2017 was a major milestone for us as a program," Loomis said. "To be able to do that in back-to-back years is a very exciting accomplishment. We have lofty goals and recruiting is one of those areas where we focus a lot of our attention as a staff, so to be recognized is both humbling and rewarding for us.
