SPOKANE, Wash. – Veerle Bakker and Jacob Klemz took first place in the mile run to highlight Portland's final day at the MPSF Championships Saturday at The Podium. Bakker posted a time of 4:46.45 and Klemz established a new PR with a time of 4:11.20 in the men's race.
Other podium finishes included runner-up showings by Konnor Hathaway and Laura Pellicoro in the men's and women's 800-meter run. Matt Strangio clocked an 8:15.95 3,000 to place second in the 5,000, while Claire Fagan set a new PR in the 3,000 with a time of 9:36.96 to place third.
