PORTLAND, Ore. --- Alex Fowler, who will come to The Bluff from Townsville, Australia, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Portland women's basketball program as a freshman, announced head coach Michael Meek. A 6-foot-1 forward, Fowler has extensive experience in the Australian National Team system, most recently playing with the U19's.
"We are very excited about signing a player of Alex's caliber and ability," coach Meek Said. "She will be coming in with a plethora of International basketball experience and will instantly make an impact to our frontline. She plays with outstanding versatility, including the ability to play inside and out with the athleticism to guard multiple positions.
