SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland forward Austin Rapp garnered his sixth Helluva Good Dip WCC Freshman of the Week award, the league office announced on Monday. Rapp recorded double-doubles in games against Pepperdine and San Diego to conclude the regular season.
Rapp averaged 15.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 blocks in the two contests. In the Pilots' home win against Pepperdine on Thursday he went for 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists with three blocked shots.
He followed with 18 points, 10 boards, five assists and two blocked shots at San Diego on Saturday, including six three-pointers made.
