SAN MATEO, Calif. – Alexis Mark earned her first WCC Player of the Week honor of season on Monday, garnering the honor after a stellar week for Portland. She is the third Pilot to win honors this season.
Mark averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per contest over two games for Portland, highlighted by a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double in a comeback win against Santa Clara. 15 of those points against the Broncos came in the second half, with her performance putting the Pilots in a tie for first in the WCC.
