SEATTLE, Wash---The Portland Pilots' men's and women's track teams opened the Husky Classic with several record breaking performances on Friday night at Dempsey Indoor on the campus of the University of Washington.
In the men's 3000 meter run, Justin Hazell led the way with his time of 8:01.40 to put himself in eighth place in program history in the event. Freshman Bradley Peloquin also ran a personal best of 8:07.66 while claiming 31st place. Riley Osen and Clement Leduc followed in 33rd place and 51st place, respectively.
Then in the men's 5K, Evert Silva finished in a time of 13:47.
