SAN DIEGO, Calif.---The 25th-ranked San Diego Toreros held off the Pilots 3-0 in a West Coast Conference volleyball match at Jenny Craig Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. USD remains undefeated in league play with the win, sealing the game in set scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 15-19.
Jayde Harris led the way with a team-high 11 kills, Noelani Helm registered 17 assists, and Alyssa Muraoka finished with 11 digs for the Portland side.
Back-to-back Harris kills found the Pilots (4-11, 1-5 WCC) only down by two at 3-5 to open the first frame, but the No. 25 Toreros (12-3, 6-0 WCC) soon picked up an early lead.
