10-Strikeout Outing From Segel not Enough in Portland's 6-3 loss to Creighton

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Kaden Segel was dominant on Saturday, punching out 10 Creighton hitters over 6.2 innings of work, but it was not enough as the Portland Pilots fell to the Bluejays 6-3.

In addition to his career-high 10 strikeouts, Segel (0-1) went 6.2 innings, giving up three runs, zero earned, on four hits and walking none for Portland (2-5).

At the plate, the Pilots were paced by Brady Bean, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a home run and an RBI.
