David "MissOracle" Yan and Juanki "B4NKR0LL3R" Vecino were determined to end the 2022 PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) on a high with the $85 million guaranteed festival's end rapidly approaching. Both achieved that goal by capturing their first WCOOP title in addition to bankroll-boosting six-figure prizes.
Yan's maiden WCOOP victory came in event WCOOP 97-H: $5,200 No-Limit Hold'em, a tournament that saw 119 PokerStars players create a $595,000 prize pool. The top 15 finishers shared the pot, with the likes of Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, Ole "wizowizo" Schemion, and bubble boy Ilya "Leqenden" Anatsky missing out on a payday.
