The World Poker Tour has announced an international brand licensing agreement with Adda52.com, the largest online poker site in India with 800,000 registered users in a country with a population boasting more than 1.25 million people. The partnership allows for exclusive product licensing and services, and it should see the site qualify players from India to participate in various WPT events.
Adda52.com also gains the rights to distribute select seasons of the WPT, create WPT merchandise, and leverage the WPT brand to secure local sponsorship partners, according to the press release.
