Georgia's first-ever World Poker Tour National (WPTN) live poker event kicked off on Saturday, May 30, at the Europe Bet Poker Room in Tbilisi. On Friday, June 5, the $1,000 Main Event will begin and those interested will be able to watch the official live stream by clicking here.
The first event of the Georgia Poker Championship festival had a $250 buy-in and attracted 184 entries. Alexandr Aprian emerged victorious in that even after defeating Levan Rchevlishvili in heads-up play. The event had a guarantee of $30,000.
