Not everyone is focused on the goings-on at the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) because plenty of poker’s superstars have remained on home soil and are grinding online poker tournaments.
Malta-based Dutchman Steven van Zadelhoff is one such player who has not flown out to Las Vegas, Nevada. van Zadelhoff’s decision to remain in Europe paid off on October 10 when he finished first from a field of 492 in the $1,050 Sunday High Rollers Main Event at GGPoker.
The former PokerStars WCOOP Main Event champion was part of a three-handed deal at the business end of the tournament.
