Swedish online gambling giant Unibet announced the launch of the Unibet UK Poker Tour, a brand new live tournament series to be played throughout the UK in 2016.
As stated in a note sent to the media on Tuesday, the Unibet UK Poker Tour will be organized in cooperation with Caesars Entertainment, and will comprise of five stops with the first one kicking off at the Brighton Marina Village in Brighton, from Feb. 7-14, 2016.
The series, which Unibet says have been created "to support grassroots poker," aims to entice recreational players as well as first-timers who are looking for ways to enter the world of live tournament poker.
