Seattle’s high-powered big budget offense didn’t do much tonight at Centurylink field. They did win though. With this victory Seattle now vaults to up the table in the hyper competitive MLS Western Conference. Facing a Toronto FC team that was missing two designated players and national team members–earstwhile MLS MVP candidate and Italian National teamer Sebastian Giovinvo as well as fellow strike partner and USMNT forward Jozy Altidore–the Sounders struggled to find the early season chemistry that had taken them to the top of the MLS Supporter’s Shield race.
