Shannon Shorr entered the month of October without a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet to his name. He now has two, while Denise Pratt claimed her first WSOP win in a high roller during the same series.
Shorr, a long-time poke pro, took down WSOP Online Series Event #27: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout on Thursday for $35,539, beating out 186 entrants. There were 36 spots paid and John Ripnick finished runner-up for $25,612 on the WSOP.com poker site in Nevada.
