On Saturday night, the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Event #18: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed Turbo DeepStack attracted 697 players who rebought 290 times. The 987-entry field resulted in a $937,650 prize pool and after just seven hours of play, it was Canada’s Scott "BudLightLime" Hempel coming out on top to win $181,060 and the gold bracelet.
It was a redemption of sorts for Hempel, who the night before finished seventh in Event #17: $777 No-Limit Hold’em for $22,250. Hempel is also a part of the WPT L.
