Sam Greenwood helped himself to a $141,384 prize this weekend when he won the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller event at GGPoker.
Greenwood was one of 1,000 players who parted company with $1,050 for the chance to become the tournament’s champion. The final table of the GGMasters High Roller is usually packed with household names, but this week’s was quite unusual as the final table was mostly made up of relatively unknown grinders.
“Serenity Now” and “ObellaCiao” were the first casualties of the final table. They scooped prizes worth $14,138 and $18,853 respectively.
