Follow along with the World Series of Poker coverage any year and you'll hear that phrase, or something like it, at least a couple times. For a lot of poker players, a WSOP gold bracelet is the pinnacle of what they can achieve in poker.
For others, the shiny trinket is just a sideshow — it's the green that counts. In the end, few can afford the luxury to simply care about the stats and honor of being called a bracelet winner.
Interestingly enough, some of those who could, don't.
