Three years after inking a sponsorship deal with the world's largest online poker site, Spain's tennis legend Rafael Nadal and PokerStars decided to go separate ways.
The news came on the heals of PokerStars signing snowboard champion Zoe Gillings-Brier on Oct. 5, with the Isle of Man Olympic Snowboard Cross champion becoming the last addition to the room's Team SportStars.
"Rafa Nadal has played an important role for our brand and while his time as a member of Team PokerStars SportsStars has concluded for now, we remain close to him and his team," a PokerStars representative told PokerNews on Monday.
