Popular Sky Poker Tour Set to Return in August

The Sky Poker Tour is returning to the United Kingdom in August following a four-year hiatus, much to the delight of the bustling Sky Poker community.

For years, the Sky Poker Tour was a big community driver on Sky Poker, but the tour ended in Oct. 2013 with a Grand Final held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, which was won by Mark Chantler for £14,985.

Sky Poker then focussed on the UK Poker Championships (UKPC) and ran these in 2014, 2015 and 2016. While popular with poker players from around the United Kingdom, Dusk Till Dawn, which hosted and helped promote the UKPC, joined forces with partypoker in early 2015 and this threw a spanner in the works so the UKPC was no more.
