Day 9 of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) at PokerStars was one of the biggest days of the festival with another nine champions crowned in four high events and five low events coming to a completion.
Canada's Patrick "prepstyle71" Serda was easily the biggest star of Day 9 after winning the $10,300 NLHE [High Roller] $1.5m Gtd for $468,181, the biggest prize of the day. Serda's claim to fame in the poker world came in December when he finished in second place in the 2016 EPT Prague €10,300 High Roller after agreeing to a deal while he had the lead against William Kassouf, which netted him €719,000 while Kassouf took home €532,500 and the coveted trophy.
