Nutrition is, obviously, very important for college football players. Having a mental edge is vital for success, too.

Ole Miss’ football program combined the two. The Rebels’ football players apparently ate actual alligator meat – a lean meat high in protein like chicken – before their upcoming game against Florida.

Can you lose to a team when you ate its mascot? Doubtful.
