Phil Ivey tasted victory in a poker tournament for the first time since February 2015 when he triumphed in the $50,000 Short Deck event at the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Super High Roller Series Sochi festival.
Ivey’s last outright victory came at the 2015 Aussie Millions where he took down the $250,000 Challenge for A$2,205,000 ($1,710,854). It’s been a long wait for his return into the winner’s circle, but he returned in style.
