The latest round of PokerStars 2023 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) events were kind to British grinders, especially to Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, who helped himself to not one but two WCOOP titles in the space of a few hours.
Leonard navigated his way to the final one-on-one match in the $5,200 World Championship of Heads-Up NLHE, where he faced Brazilian "neverstandard." Both players locked in $46,000 for their $5,200 investment, but first place came with the honor of being able to call yourself the heads-up No-Limit Hold'em champion of the world, plus an additional $34,500 in prize money.
