Partypoker has revamped its online poker festival offering, renaming it Powerfest — in line with its Power Series tournaments — and upping the combined guaranteed prize pools to an impressive $5 million.
The inaugural Powerfest kicks off on Sunday, February 21, and runs through to Sunday, March, 20 during which time a total of 98 no-limit Hold’em tournaments will take place at partypoker tables. Like online festivals on other sites, the partypoker Powerfest has a wide range of buy-ins to suit players with various bankroll sizes, but partypoker has put a slightly different slant on its offering by dedicating a full week of tournaments to one of four buy-in levels.
