Ballots from 62 media members have been collected, and the finalists are now official for the 15th edition of the Global Poker Index European Poker Awards.
The awards ceremony, which takes place May 3 at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort during European Poker Tour Grand Final, will see nine winners named after a jury of experts decides between a handful of finalists in each category.
Two award winners have already been determined based on accumulation of GPI points in 2015. GPI Player of the Year will go to German star Fedor Holz after he edged out Dzmitry Urbanovich, who garnered a couple of nominations of his own.
