The American League Wild Card race has been tightly contested for months now, but with less than 50 games remaining in the long grind that is the MLB season, there are six teams that are less than five games out of the second Wild Card spot. One of those teams are the Minnesota Twins, who are currently one and a half games back of getting into the playoffs. While that seems like they are right on the verge of making the playoffs, they are still behind the Angels and Rangers in chasing the Orioles for the second Wild Card spot.
