Jason Mercier is on the cusp of something very special at the 2016 World Series of Poker.
Riding a hot streak he started with a win in the 2016 WSOP $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship on Monday night, Mercier is leading the final 18 in the $10,000 Razz Championship on Tuesday, and threatening to go back-to-back in bracelet events.
On Monday, Mercier told PokerNews he won much more than the $273,335 first-place prize in bracelet-bet side action when he took down the $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball title.
