This win brings his total short-deck tournament winnings to just over $6.3 million. Short-deck poker is a variant played with 36 cards instead of the regular 52. The 2's, 3', 4's, and 5's are taken out of the deck, so the lowest card in play is a 6. Later on in the Triton Series, Timothy Adams defeated Bryn Kenney heads up in the 2019 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju HKD 2,000,000 Main Event.
