During Tuesday's Draft Order Selection Show, the Global Poker League (GPL) announced a new development to its program. Originally slated as a league of 12 franchises with five players each, the GPL has added a sixth player to each team and the draft has now been increased to four rounds.
The general format of the draft will remain in tact, but there's a little bit of a twist. The added fourth pick of the draft will be optional for franchise managers. If the option is taken, a manager will select a fourth team member on Feb.
