The World Poker Tour (WPT) has crowned a champion for the third night in a row. This time it was Brek Schutten emerging victorious in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $1,261,095.
Schutten put on a dominating display eliminating all but one of the players at the final table en route to his first big live poker victory with the seven-figure haul representing most of his more than $1.6 million in live cashes.
In addition to the huge cash prize, Schutten was also awarded a Hublot Big Bang Steel Watch, a set of Baccarat Crystal, and, of course, will have his name engraved on the WPT Champions Cup alongside the WPT Champions from all 18 seasons of the World Poker Tour.
