The World Series of Poker has shown plenty of love to its stop at Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina by giving it three events on the 2016-17 World Series of Poker Circuit schedule, and the turnout for the first reentry event of the new season showed why.
A total of 2,447 entries were logged for Event #3: $365 Reentry, which had four starting days and carried a $500,000 guarantee. That number was easily surpassed with a prize pool of $734,100, and the lion's share of that, $108,270, went to Alabama's Austin Reilly.
